Direct ABA Therapy & Supervision
After completing the treatment plan assessment, a Behavior Analyst (BA) and a Behavior Technician (BT) will be assigned to work with your family. The BT will provide one-on-one therapy for your child, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week, while the BA oversees and monitors the treatment to ensure progress. Therapy sessions can take place in the home, community, or school setting, depending on your child’s needs.
Our approach emphasizes naturalistic behavioral interventions, such as Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), which integrates therapy into daily routines, play-based activities, and community interactions. Additionally, we incorporate Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) to address challenging behaviors safely and effectively, helping your child develop functional skills and achieve meaningful progress in real-world environments.
At Ascent ABA, our supervision services ensure high-quality care through regular oversight by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). BCBAs conduct in-home observations, provide feedback to behavior technicians, and analyze session data to adjust treatment plans based on your child’s progress. Additionally, our team participates in ongoing training to uphold the highest standards, ensuring safe and effective ABA therapy.
Caregiver Education
At Ascent ABA, walking hand in hand with caregivers is essential to our clients’ success. We take the time to understand the goals you have for your family and child. Caregiver education takes place weekly or biweekly with a Behavior Analyst.
During caregiver education sessions, we ensure communication about what is effective and what needs to be adjusted. Families participating regularly in this training will learn the skills necessary to help their child reach their potential.
Our Services
Home Based Services
We offer a comprehensive range of services, including in-home assessments, home-based ABA therapy, behavioral interventions, and family training. Our goal is to equip families with the tools they need to support their child's growth and success both at home and in the community.
Assessment
Before we start teaching, we prioritize understanding your child's needs. To create a tailored therapy plan, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) conducts one to two interviews with parents, followed by observations of your child in various environments, such as at home, school, and in the community. This evaluation helps us assess your child's skills and behaviors so that we can design a safe and effective intervention plan.
Based on these observations, our BCBA develops a personalized care plan to guide ABA therapy sessions. A dedicated therapist is then assigned to work one-on-one with your child, under the continuous supervision and guidance of the BCBA. As your child achieves milestones, the plan is regularly updated to support their ongoing growth and success.
